Senior Key Account Manager (f/m/d)

For one of our clients, a major player in Intellectual Property, we are looking for a sales expert

Your Tasks: 

  • Strategic development and implementation of a concrete, KPI-driven, ambitious business plan (including sales and marketing strategies)
  • Generation of in-depth knowledge about the sales territory
  • Support of existing customers / acquisition and retention of new customer business
  • Advising clients on the strategic benefits of our client's products (clients come primarily from industry, retail, financial services, B2B and public institutions)
  • Observation of competition and the market in general
  • Operation of complex sales cycles (up to 6 months duration)
  • Representation of our client's company as brand ambassador at events (trade fairs, conferences, exhibitions, etc.)

Your Profile:

  • B.S. / B.A. degree; ideally in business administration or marketing, or comparable
  • Master's degree / MBA is desirable
  • 3-5 years of relevant, international professional experience in technical sales
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English; French is desirable
  • Sales-relevant industry knowledge in the field of intellectual property is desirable
  • Proof of success in sales
  • Experience in dealing with CRM systems
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills
  • High willingness to learn
  • Solution orientation
