Patent Attorney (physicist) (m/f/d)
For one of our clients, a renowned patent law firm with global reach, we are recruiting a dedicated "Patent Attorney (f/m/d)" for their office in Munich.
Your tasks:
- You are the contact person for all questions related to industrial property rights for international clients from various fields such as classical physics, electrical engineering and computer-implemented inventions;
- You accompany patent prosecution, oppositions and appeals including representation of the clients before the German Patent and Trademark Office and, if necessary, before the Federal Patent Court and the European Patent Office;
- You ensure patent drafting and filing of patent applications;
- You accompany international patent filing and prosecution, sometimes regarding bigger patent families;
- You support internal departments such as Filing, Recordals and EP Validations.
Your profile:
- You hold a university degree in physics and you are a qualified German Patent Attorney;
- You plan to become a European Patent Attorney;
- You have a gift for language and a knack of illustrating complex technical and legal issues;
- You are a self-motivated team player with excellent communication skills;
- You are interested in organizational topics, quality management and process optimization;
- You have native German language skills and very good skills in English and ideally in French as well;
- You are welcome to bring in your own client base.
