For one of our clients, a renowned law firm in the heart of Munich, we are looking for a dedicated Patent Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of biology/biochemistry.

Your tasks:

• Drafting patent applications for filing with the EPO
• Conducting grant proceedings before the EPO
• Participating in and handling opposition and appeal proceedings before the EPO
• Drafting opinions and freedom-to-operate analyses

Your profile:

• A successfully completed degree in one of the above-mentioned fields of study
• Ideally, admission as a European representative (m/f/d), but you may also be partially qualified
• Optional admission as German Patent Attorney (m/f/d)
• Experience as a patent engineer/patent attorney (m/f/d) in the field of life science
• An independent way of working with a high sense of responsibility
• High quality work in German and English language
• A quick grasp of complex technical issues
• Willingness to penetrate complex legal issues
• Social competence and ability to work in a team
